Dear Sir/Madam,
I, S K Thakur, an M.Sc. (Gold Medalist), M.Ed. am working as a Chemistry teacher in a Private school situated in South Delhi. Being a teacher, I am observing behaviour of the adolescents very closely. What is really troubling me for about five years is, speedy degeneration of Indian culture, deviation of youth from decency and discipline. It is a great threat to our nation and its value system.
With the dawn of twenty first century wherein Science and technology, we have reached to a glorious level, yet Indian culture is declining day by day. Young generation is deviating from the core Indian values with elements like respect for elders, decency in dress code, polite behaviour, submissiveness in treatment to others, hospitality, selfless service, politeness in speech, humanity and so on.
The western culture is adversely affecting Indian culture and influencing young impressionistic minds, so much so that it is eating upon the vitality of our culture for which we were known throughout the world. If this state of affair continues, I am afraid that we won’t be able to save “incredible India ".
Keeping the above mentioned issues in mind, this organisation "SUBODH TREE" has taken up steps to inculcate and bring into the consciousness amongst Indian youth, the great Indian culture. So, this organisation earnestly requests you to send opinion and observation in writing to "SUBODH TREE" regarding ways to save Indian culture.
