            I, S K Thakur, an M.Sc. (Gold Medalist), M.Ed. have been working as a teacher in a Private School situated in South Delhi.  In the month of April, 2008 after the completion of the board examination of Class – XII students of my school, I went home for a few days. One day one of my labourer’s (Named Chandeshwar) with hesitation came to me for financial help for his daughter’s marriage. I asked him what would be the total expenditure for his daughter’s marriage? He said that in cash Rs. 20,000/- (Approx) and some food items i.e. rice, pulse, potatoes etc. I assured him of all kinds of help. Then he started preparation for marriage. Although I couldn’t stay for his daughter’s marriage, I provided for whatever help asked for. The same day I thought in my mind that in our country so many fathers and mothers are burdened with their daughter’s marriage., who needed a bit financial support to fulfill the needs of society such as good food for the people, light decoration, special gifts  for the bride & many more other expenses. I decided to establish an organization to provide such kind of help to the needy citizens of India. About two month later I got a society registered named as “SUBODH TREE” (Society to uplift bonafide objectives to develop humanity to resonate education & entertainment) with all India status as per rules & regulations laid down by the Government of India and also as per the societies registration act – 1860. Now by the grace of Almighty this society has started functioning for its aims & objectives for which a lot of financial support is required to fulfill the needs of the poor.

            I am working as a teacher in a school where teachers are from different parts of India. Through them similar request has come. Being teacher, we don’t have very sound financial base, so, it is earnest request to come forward for this noble mission to help poor countrymen to fulfill marital obligation towards their daughters.
